The WIP Factory team is assembled of individuals from around the world with extensive experience in working with the mobile developer community. We also use our extensive network of experienced contacts to engage additional resources and expertise as needed to support individual projects.
Caroline Lewko – Founder & CEO
Caroline is the consummate connector with a passion for mobile! She has been in the telecom industry since 1995 as a coder, funder, business developer and entrepreneur, and is sought out by investors and C-level executives for her insights, contacts and advice. She started WIP in early 2006 with the goal of providing open information, resources and a voice for mobile developers to make their path to market easier, reduce their cycle times and increase their level of innovation.
Based in Vancouver, Caroline founded the Wireless Innovation Network of BC in 2001, as well as Wavefront, and has served as chair of both organizations. She also worked for a Hong Kong-based consultancy in business development, and in the Telecommunications Industry Group of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). She received her MBA from Dalhousie University, and her BA from the University of Manitoba, and was named as one of the Top Ten Women in Wireless in 2009.
