The WIP Factory team is assembled of individuals from around the world with extensive experience in working with the mobile developer community. We also use our extensive network of experienced contacts to engage additional resources and expertise as needed to support individual projects.
Caroline Lewko – Founder & CEO
Caroline is the consummate connector with a passion for mobile! She has been in the telecom industry since 1995 as a coder, funder, business developer and entrepreneur, and is sought out by investors and C-level executives for her insights, contacts and advice. She started WIP in early 2006 with the goal of providing open information, resources and a voice for mobile developers to make their path to market easier, reduce their cycle times and increase their level of innovation.
Based in Vancouver, Caroline founded the Wireless Innovation Network of BC in 2001, as well as Wavefront, and has served as chair of both organizations. She also worked for a Hong Kong-based consultancy in business development, and in the Telecommunications Industry Group of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). She received her MBA from Dalhousie University, and her BA from the University of Manitoba, and was named as one of the Top Ten Women in Wireless in 2009.
Thibaut Rouffineau – VP of Developer Partnerships
Thibaut is a community builder and “mobile activist”! He has been active in the mobile, telecom and software world for more than 10 years as an all-rounder from the research labs to the telecom shelter, worked on the core network to the core OS, across photons and airwaves and from product management to community strategy. Thibaut joined WIP in 2010 from the Symbian Foundation, where he was Head of Community Management and accompanied the Symbian developer and partner community in its migration to open source. He has been heavily engaged in migrating the mobile industry towards a more open and community-driven approach to development and innovation, particularly in building the Eclipse and Symbian developer communities, but also through supporting operators’ and OEMs’ developer programs.
Thibaut is based in London, and holds an MSc in telecommunications from Telecom SudParis and is an accredited Chartered Marketer.
Carlo Longino – Director of Developer Marketing Services
Carlo has more than a decade’s experience in the mobile industry, beginning just after the turn of the century when he worked for Nokia at its headquarters in Finland and mobile data services were in their infancy. Before joining WIP in 2010, Carlo worked as a freelance consultant and writer while he completed an MBA; prior to that, he was Senior Analyst for Floor64, a Silicon Valley-based analyst firm, where he covered the mobile and fixed telecom industries. He also helped launch and spent five years running TheFeature.com, a thought leadership site owned by Nokia. Carlo is a well-known mobile blogger at MobHappy.com, and his writing has also been published in The Wall Street Journal, Business 2.0 magazine and on Dow Jones Newswires.
Carlo has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Teresa has more than 20 years of marketing experience, working across many industries in marketing strategy development, event management and marketing partnerships. She joined WIP in early 2008 to help build its marketing partnerships and relationships with local and regional mobile groups worldwide.
